Money and pricing stuff make some people uncomfortable. I owned 9 cars in the US and never sold one.
Maybe the seller understands Spanish and was afraid of dealing with somebody with the handle "Arsenico Salvador"...

i agree with barryG !
having dealt with deQuincey ... i have nothing but extremely high regards for him and his posts on this forum. anybody who reads anything negative into any of his posts or misinterprets his translation into english - without asking a question is foolish and misinformed. there aren't many finer people on this forum.

I was extending my appreciation of deQuincey beyond Machinery to the fields of Poetry and Photography, which you may not have been aware of. The prospective seller may have been intimidated by the nom de plume our friend uses for those pursuits...
