Yes, I think a 3.25 would be about perfect with a 4 spd....I have sold a few 3.07's also....depends on the torque characteristics of your engine. On the race Bavaria had the 3.25 with a 4 spd and stock Motronic 1.1 3.5, would pull e30 M3's out of corners just because of how flexible the M30 was...nobody believed it when I told them I had a 3.25 rear gear...car was light which helped.

I run 2.93's in e30's on the street a lot, am able to tool around town in 3rd without shifting much. Today just changing an e36 318 circle track car from 3.45 to 4.44 with 1 to 1 5th gear, this should be interesting.

What is the percentage drop for the OD 5th? A little mre than swapping to a 3.45? Maybe I should look that up.
