The triple weber and odd looking air box look rare to me. What do I know?
Too bad it's automatic.

I had a '79 323i in the US. The cam cover looked just like the one on the picture, so maybe it is the original engine. It had mechanical injection, and since it was grey market, the injection parts were difficult to get. Maybe the owner just replaced the injection with the carbs?
