in reality the clock is always repairable - they can put in a new quartz movement into the old clock. i have a 2800cs mechanical clock with the ivory arms - it is now a quartz clock and looks brand new thanks to Palo Alto ... and it was done in a couple of weeks. the clock is the easiest to remove, you remove the under dash panel - there are a couple of nuts and a wire ... worse case is that you undo a couple of the bottom bolts on the binnacle over the gauges and allow the gauge panel to slide forward and then remove the clock from behind.Hi All, Looking for the E9 time clock, 62131357111. Mine is blowing fuse 4. I don't want to pull the dash asunder to find that it's not repairable. Many thanks, Seán.

Hi Scottau@Barry.b great write up thanks, this helped me greatly with a RHD dash. One thing to add for anyone else. To remove the front trim that has the rubber, I pulled the rubber out and then accessed the screws. I had the steering column out so was easy to peel from there.
