This car looks like a huge project since it's been sitting for 40 years. A very rare BMW to say the least. This car is not for the faint of heart, you'll need some deep pockets to take on this restoration.

Not even sure if/where you could source the parts, but just from that first pic I'd say you would spend at least $20k on the bodywork.

Like the bodystyle, but if this were on NPOCP on Jalopnik, I think I know which way I'd vote.

Not thrilled about the body but the engine seems really cool. A V8 aluminum block and heads! Same as the 507? Probably better than the Volvo/Rover/TVR 3.5

Are these engines around anymore?
