No pictures of the rust prone areas. There seems to be two 2800cs's in Mill Valley. This one is on FB market place for $28K

the manual tranny car is 2270205. new to the ancestry project. the other car is also an early 2800cs with the shifter ... but no idea what the VIN is. if anybody talks to the seller, please ask for the VIN

There are a few things that scare me and I'm known to be fearless... The first is the rust on the instrument bezels. The second is the rust on the inside of the driver side under dash door as well as the rust on gas pedal rod as well as the mold on the sun visor. All are indicative of a lot of water being in the car at some point. I'd be nervous that there was water getting in somewhere and if you pull out the carpet and look behind the glove box I'd be cautious.

Agree, Elgrecko. But if you could get it for $24 or 25,000 what's a little? rust? Drive it for a couple of years and part it out.
me thinks its worth 20k +/- there is rust hiding inside there that will cost some $$ to set right.
