I'd say a sunroof is going to get more use in Northern Europe than A/C - well in Manchester (UK) at least.... so I was pleased that mine came with that option, though repairing the roof ranks as one of the worst jobs I've had to undertake. The drains may well accelerate rust in the sills, but the condensation that gets trapped between the roof skin and frame and the rot that causes is the real nightmare.
