Fully-restored California rust-free car with fresh, concours-quality paint in original color, Five speed overdrive manual trans. Converted from automatic by previous owner. New Weber carbs. Modern air conditioning compressor: system blows cold. Complete stainless steel exhaust system. Car cover.
Genuine Alpina 16" staggered wheels with cover and Continental Extreme Contact tires, 2014 date codes, excellent tread. Sunroof and all electric windows work perfectly. Interior original black leather with no defects. Blaupunkt Portland AM/FM/Cassette. Meticulously maintained by M-Service in Walnut Creek, CA. Asking $125K.

Seems like this one was on BaT earlier this year. I remember because the in-laws live in Danville (next door to the seller). Beautiful car for sure!

Perhaps this one...
 
Perhaps Verona is not a high-dollar car color for E9s.

Car does look superb (albeit the cracking front tower insulation is a bit of an eyesore; which is why I hate that insulation).

If that CSL clone went for $130k....this one should have been close to that me thinks.

i agree... but i find Verona one of the best colors on "sporty' models , so sure no bumpers, CSL spoiler front & rear , black grilles. :)
And more in this case... other wheels please.
 
Nits to pick: glove box door delaminating, carpets original, but scruffy. And red is rare in an e9, but not sure it suits the shape the best. And modify the wheels to non-80s look (remove center caps, paint centers black), and add a Petri. Then voila.

hard to believe that a couple of tomato coupes were on the market at the same time. 'tomato' isn't a derogatory term ... its just a lot of big red. the coupe is quite dynamic in all the different reds that it was made in.
