Hey all, there's a previously fjord now black e3 at the U Pull it on Buford Highway. Row 13.

I got the small bumpers, seatbelts and windshield. Engine, trans, and diff gone, but there was a gertrag 262 and a starter motor in the trunk.

Interior is pretty much gone or not salvageable, I got a window switch I needed. Grills gone, all tail lights still there but a little cracked, the rest of the glass was there. Door panels and dash still there, and rear seat back (black).

There were 5 FPS wheels there with rotten conti's 14".

The driver's seat was a tattered e30 Recaro.

If anyone needed a gas tank it looked super clean, panels were straight enough with very limited rust. It was actually a good body with a sunroof.

All trim crummy. That's about it...all hail U Pull It.

72 or 73

Do you say that based on my picture, if so what's the tell / difference between 72 and 73? I'm learning lots of e3 nuance.

Otherwise I didn't bother to look at the vin or door plate, and went with what there was one the site:

Small bumpers

Ah, I was looking at my friend's 71 tonight and the rear bumper on it is completely flush...makes sense. Here's to the small bumper search.

How's the steering box, present, absent, play, no play? They share many parts with the E9/E24/2002 but are unique to the car.

Steering box

The wheel and pedal box are gone. So no way to tell

Also an M60 v8 is in there so can't really see...

Sorry no idea.

I have the steering box from the 81, 635 Euro if anyone wants it- Donation to the site plus shipping- Not sure if it fits our cars?
