Time to thin the herd for dwindling storage space so I'm posting here first. As the title says, I've decided to move our 3.0S along to the next steward. We looked for the right E3 for a long time til we found this one from Oldenzaal. They had acquired it as part of a whole collection they bought from an estate in Italy. They did not restore it...it had been owned by two collectors who maintained it very well. We imported it in 2022.

I have sorted the car thoroughly and would drive it anywhere. Odo shows 47,000 km but TMU. The Baikal metallic is a quality repaint of the original. The Sandbeige velour seats are in such good condition that I suspect they have been recovered in OEM material. Dash is uncracked. Options include alloy wheels, tinted glass, rear fog light, coco mats, 4-speed, power steering, leather steering wheel, LSD, complete tool kit and period Philips AM/FM/cassette. No a/c or sunroof. In my judgment, the car is rust-free.

During my ownership, I have rebuilt the rear calipers, changed all the fluids, tuned the engine, installed new front seat belts, replaced the clutch master, and installed four new Bilstein B8's and 28/22 sway bars. The car is solid, comfortable, reliable and a great highway cruiser with several concours awards. It is a Series 2 E3, VIN 3007216.

Includes birth certificate from BMW Classic, owner's manual and a 3-ring binder of records and various other literature, Car is in northeast Georgia and will be at The Vintage. Feel free to contact me with questions or more photos. $30,000.

guys, i have seen this car in person. this is a really nice e3! definitely worth more than the asking price. one of the nicest e3 i have seen in person in quite some time.

Don. Such a beautiful car, and being a Euro E3 makes it very special. I love that the belt moulding continues around the deck lid, the lack of side marker lights, the velour interior, no rear bumper guards, etc. I think you have underpriced it. The market may be a little soft but this is a superior, rare car in exceptional condition. Best of luck with the sale.

Beautiful e3. Remember Bavaria’s were only sold in North America so euro e3s are always better equipped.
Totally agree with everything @Dick Steinkamp said. It’s a steal at your asking price.
Good Luck!

The dream Bavaria, great color with cloth/velour seats. LSD, uncracked dash, full tool kit. This checks all the boxes. What a survivor, some of the pics it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. "They are only original once" right? Definitely a car you don't want to restore, not yet anyways. Hopefully the new caretaker realizes what they have here and take great care of it. Like everyone is saying, $30K is a bargain for something like this. GLWS...we will get the word out.

Guys, thanks so much for all your gracious comments. I posted a photo on the Vintage Facebook page and interest exploded. Apparently I have grossly underestimated what nice E3's will sell for, so I need to reevaluate that price I posted. I don't particularly enjoy the BaT experience but it may wind up there.

And Andrew, here are the twins:
