I haven't seen this one at any of the local gatherings, but I've only been in the area for about a year. I'd be curious to check it out, so PM me if you have serious interest in it.

That looks like a nice one. I don't like the blue with the red combo. But it sounds like a nice solid car. As far as sunroof versus not, some say it means more rust possibilities. Does a sunroof add value to the car? I would prefer a sunroof myself.

I sought and bought a non-sunroof car. The rust possibilities, potential mechanism problems, possible headliner grunge and reduced structural rigidity all turned me away.

Have to disagree. Sunroofs on these cars are such a great feature if all things else rust wise are equal. They really add to the driving experience. I've only owned sunroof coupes and have never regretted it. I'd feel like I was missing a window without the sunroof.

Interesting how different we all are. I have owned one sunroof car, a Toyota Station wagon. Never opened it. Didn't miss it when it went. All the guys with sunroofs on their 02s or coupes seem to have more problems than they are worth.

Old thread but the car in question still for sale. Regarding the sunroof's. I've owned many BMW vintage cars with sunroofs and as long as they are not aftermarket sunroofs.... I personally have never had a leaking issue. None whatsoever. And being that many A/C's go out over the years I love having the sunroof option. These cars are greenhouses as they are, it is nice to be able to open the roof of the greenhouse and not worry about rain coming in when closed. Big thumbs up for sunroof cars!! And working A/C with a sunroof........Heaven!
