Don't CONDEMN the Flippers! Some FLIPPERS FIND GREAT CARS!!!
A word of advice from someone with extensive classic car experience is that condemning and insulting the people who buy cars just to flip them is a mistake!
I personally have bought at least 100 amazing vintage cars (427 Cobra, Ferrari 330GTS, Porsche 550 Spyder, Ferrari Daytona, 20 Porsche Speedsters MBs, Rolls etc)from sellers who only bought the cars to flip them for a profit!
I used to buy a lot of cars from one flipper (Ron Kipper) who kept finding amazing cars rat holed in garages around his neighborhood in the South Bay area of LA.
Ron would call me first to say he just bought a 58 Speedster 15 minutes ago for $2,500 and do I want it for $7,500? Knowing Ron knew his Porsches 356s I would almost always buy the car sight unseen.
Was I pissed that Ron just made $5k in 15 minutes... Well Yes and NO!
I was pissed because he found the car and not me and glad that he made $5K because the amazingly original Speedster that was worth every penny of the $7,500 was now sitting in my garage!
Let the car and the value of the car SPEAK for itself...
Just because someone else got lucky or was there first and scored does not mean the car is not a good example or worth a lot more then the seller paid, even if it was on the same day...
A man finds a shinny rock in the dirt... Turns out to be a large clear uncut diamond.
Is that diamond not worth diamond values if he wants to sell it?
