I do feel a bit silly now not catching up the sarcasm.

Don’t feel silly. I first figured it out after spending about 30 mins trying to force CarFax to take an old VIN, and then I went to the tag agent to see what they could run. I know the owner, and he wasn’t as gentle as the good folks here. Don’t ever admit to a muscle-car friend that you’re looking at a 1969 Alfa Romeo!

Look behind the glove box, fuse box door for crud. Also lift the spare tire out of there to view.

Look at the corners at the rockers very closely. Check out the front fender seams closely.

Ya, for $50k, one could have had that Malaga one on BAT. Now it's $60k.

Too bad the engine compartment is so dull compared to the rest of the car. Must have done a quickie paint job.

These old cars deserve engine out, glass out paint jobs.

Yeah. I figured someone would have make a play before. I'm glad I reached out here first. The bigger question like Dang was saying what would the price you are willing to pay for this car?

1st of all, tack on another $5k for conversion to 5-speed (do you really want an auto?).

Another $4k for good early bumpers.
