Anybody know how the impact absorbing (?) bumper supports on the American '74s work? (Pamp, where are you when I need you...?)Are they gas? Or is there a spring inside? Trying to convert my coupe to Euro bumpers and one option is to compress the supports so I need to know how they were designed to absorb impacts. Thanks for any help.
