'74 E9 on Hemmings ($48k)

The floors have been patched (and not a very workman like job). The fenders inside the hood look ok, but if you had to replace the floors you have to ask about the rockers and the inside of the front fenders. You won't see any bubbling up there until it's way too late, so it would take a close inspection to make sure this one is ok. The paint looks nice, and they likely fixed anything that can be easily seen but a fresh coat of paint can hide a multitude of sins.

Pretty strange for a euro coupe to have US 73 rear bumpers, no sunroof felt, overspray, holes in front corner of fenders closed up where rubber hood adjusters should be, I think fender seams look suspect and of course the horrible floors.

Hood and trunk alignment look horrible - either hood/trunk or body is not straight (maybe all three). Even through pictures one can see the very low quality paintwork. Even Maaco did better work than this.

a lot of people don't want to take the time / have the patience to align them properly, especially people doing mediocre paint jobs that underestimated what it takes to paint a coupe.
