If you can identify the colors of the wires you are referring to, I 'might' be able to help. But - remember - my car was significantly modified during the refurbishment and engine/trans, etc. modifications during the late '80's and early 90's.

two brown w/ brown green one side
one grown with green other
and gray to both a loop
they must go to the heater and ac cause theres nothing else back there
unless i brought it down from above behind the htr/ac

thanks i figured the big wires they go to the heater and ac bloewer
now i just need
the three connector
brown/yellow
green/white
brown/white
weird
also on the 74 we have a green button right of steering column i think is the fog light
then theres another to the left of the column -whats that for?

On a 72, rear defrost is black. Of course 74 is probably different. It's also the only wire of about 12 awg size that goes to the rear of the car.

I dunno what your mystery connector is, but I can tell you green/white will be a ignition hot wire to power something. Solid green is upstream of a fuse, and green/white is downstream of a fuse. Brown is always the negative side of a circuit, but brown with an additional color is usually a ground that is contingent on something, for instance the door switch has a spotted brown wire to it because it becomes a ground when the switch closes.

on 74 the rear defrost is opposite the lighter
then the green is the fog lights
then the other is the question
i think i remember its a dummy
must be location for the optional rear fog light
as its shown in the wiring diagram
or the headlight wipers
