These are pretty sharp, especially with the polished deep lips. As usual, no affiliation! Looking in old CS literature, these first generation BBS/Mahle cross-spoke/basket-weave rims were dealer options for the late CS's and the early E24 coupes. Think they would look pretty stunning in a dark colored coupe and black in particular.

Those are the E12-design ones. The E3/E9-items have a deeper lip and no seem between lip and spokes. Additionally the older design have convex spokes and have either the 40069 or the 40070 KBA No. cast into them. Old design is ET=9,3, newer E12-design is ET=11.

I have a set of these that I'm looking to sell if anyone is interested (ET 11 I believe)...

Thanks- Richard

BimBill has a set that I gave him...

Contact BimBill he might still have the set of BBS wheels that were on the 73 E9 I sold him...

Scott a 1973 Sunroof that needed a full restoration...

I bought a 1973 sunroof 4 speed (Nauchtblau) that was stored in a San Francisco garage for 20 years... The car was represented as a nice original car that would probably "Buff Out"....

Well that turned out to be total bullsh!t... The car did not have a straight panel on it anywhere. The paint that would supposedly "Buff Out" was peeling and cracking and literally falling off the car... The interior was shot and the motor made some scary noises:-(...

The amazing part was the car was absolutely rust free... To big a project for me at the time so I sold it...

I sold the car to BimBill in Seattle about 18 months ago.

now i remember the story. i just forgot who you had sold it to. thought you had sold one recently
