'81 Euro E24 / 635

NMNA. Here's an interesting '81 Euro E24 / 635. Has aftermarket gauges and other bits:

I'm not sure about the "Alpina 635" designation in the title. $35K price seems high compared to other E24's I've seen...

It's been for sale on Marketplace for quite awhile. It's got some great bits on it but the price does seem high for a e12 based e24. My buddy has a euro e23 in the same great color.

That looks like a standard e12 based e24. I don't see any of the Alpina interior changes, and the exterior changes seem to be limited to a rocker panel trim piece and Alpina wheels. I'm not expecting the e12 based e24 I'm restoring to get anywhere near this much money. But if he gets $35k for this, mine is probably worth more than I think it is.

This color is stunning to me, but yea, not a 35K car. I never understood why some colors and interiors were unavailable in the US.
