'83 Euro M635CSi on eBay in Tracy, CA

The skeptical me wonders why the seller of such an enthusiast model chooses eBay and not BaT. Avoidance of expert (and less than expert) commentary? Not wanting to post numerous and revealing photos?
 
The Montana title always causes a long conversation on BAT.
373 HP is a good number.
Is it me or the transmission is attached to a piece of wood?

The VIN shows this as a euro 635csi not a M635. All M635 VIN's (last 7) start with a 105. Here is the tag from mine. I'm surprised there are no engine pics if it has a S38 swap.

Perhaps this car is not a Euro M635CSi.. but rather a Euro 635CSi (or bumper-retrofitted US model) with a Metric Mechanic 3700 (3.7L motor), some M-badging and the Alpina steering wheel... ? The VIN report is also rather interesting.. I could see a 635CSi being acquired for $3,600 (in very poor shape) ... this might explain why engine shots are not present on the eBay ad...

Well, technically, the description on eBay doesn't call it a M635CSi, it's listed as a 635CSi 'M', my guess is the seller knows it's not a real one but it does have the S52 motor so he's kinda playing the game. The photos are horrible but it doesn't have the signature, and unique to only the M635CSi, fender flares. But... either does my buddy's true M635CSi (also in HennaRot) because one of them got lost during the multi year restoration.
