85 amp bnr alternator on ebay

Has anyone had any experience using BNR 85 amp alternators being sold on Ebay? Any install problems? Do they last? Warranty issues? Other issues? Would prefer new rather than rebuilt...anybody have a better/proven source for an 85 amp unit that fits? My current (stock, rebuilt) AutohouseAZ unit just failed at 3yrs- 25,000 miles (is this typical of a rebuild?). Thanks in advance...BOB

I have the 85amp BNR alternator. No ftiment issues, you may need to use your existing pulley instead of the one supplied but no big deal there.

I've had mine for about 4 years and 10,000 miles with no issues but I have read that some on the 2002FAQ have had early failures but maybe that is a different part, perhaps others can chime in.

Same here, no problems. Like Steve, I had to swap in my pulley, it interfered with the PS belt as it protruded too far.

I put one in my car, no fitment issues and no problems after 1 year but only about 600 miles.
