Can anyone tell me if the A/C grills that screw into the left and right side console pieces are the same for an e9 and e3 .eg are they interchangable ?

It looks like e3 will fit a coupe but console sides are longer, the e9 grill is cut at the forward tip for its shorter console.

I remember, and having both items E3 and E9 in hands, they are completely interchangeable.

Are late Bavarias really any different from earlier ones? Those are already shorter than any I have seen for an e3. $175, gulp!
