I see cracks at the corners. I would keep the tools out of it except for show purposes!

At that price I would expect no less than the Blue Cloth with Roundel imprint. Better known as the Shroud of Coupe.

A second to the advice to store the tools elsewhere. I purchased a lovely tool bag that came with the M1 from a guy on this list.

Hold on to that tool bag Steve! I bought all the remaining stock from BMW a few years ago for this purpose but they did not catch on like I thought. Anyway there are no more, I have one in my coupe, Sooner has one in his, and one left for my CSL (well when I find my money tree and a CSL for sale). I will forward the pics today of the shroud of coupe,

I also have spent in anticipation of ownership.... on the CSL front and your posting I looked quite closely at 2 today, neither are batwings, think both are 3 liter...and both are asking a money tree and a half at nearly $100k...
enjoy the tool bag... as sanity may indeed reside there!
