A very interesting '77 E24

Here's an interesting '77 Euro E24 extensively modified by Hardy & Beck that was documented in a Road & Track article:

The engine shots are worth looking at. Individual velocity stacks - one per cylinder - but they employ Nissan EFI components per the description. The pin striping eludes me.

Looks like he parked it in SoCal and got a local fella to pinstripe it. LOL. Doesn't seem the market will give him what he wants...or even close to it. I had an L6 that I loved, but this one just doesn't work for me.
