Advertising and Location Requirement Off Topic

Saw the latest post by DWMBMW under Off Topic. Clicked on the video that has an advertising tag in the screen. Immediately a location request came up on the screen and I declined. Immediately stopped the video. Hit the play again and location request came up again with same result with the video stopping. Seems this is both an advertisement for, I believe insurance, and a data collection attempt. My understanding that this kind of commercial activity is not allowed on the E9Coupe Board.
Am I correct in this assumption?

Commercial activity by whom? He posted a link to an ad that featured an e9. FWIW, I wasn’t prompted for a location. I have location services off and private relay on.

The first and second time the location prompt came up per my post. I tried just now and the location prompt did not come up and the video ran without issue. I’m not sorry I brought this issue as that’s what happened and I feel strongly about the use of data collection. I’ll be more diligent in the future and act less quickly about an issue.
