Advice on tires for 2800cs

I plan on buying tires this week for my 2800cs that has been parked several years. Overall, the car is stock with Alpina style et22 14" wheels. Also have a set of stock wheels with caps.

I plan on running 195/70s or 215/60s.

Any recommendation on tires? Stock wheels or the et22s?

let them be circular and black, the rest is only anecdotic,...:smile:

edit, there are thousands of posts about tyres, there is a search function in the forum,. as to rims, check photos with stock and others and decide by yourself, it is a matter of personal taste

I am no expert, but the Sumitomo 205/70/ R14 rides pretty nice. When it comes to replacing my next set of tires, it would definitely be up high on the list.

Let us know what you end up with. As I understand it, the 14's do limit your tire selection a bit. However, I do enjoy the smoother ride of the 14's.
