Aircon side covers

FYI - I don’t sell these. I can give anyone the files if they need them. Just PM me your email address. I tried hosting them for free but they were removed by a cease and desist by the brand that we love.

I have been known to print them for those that aren’t great at the internet. If you can book an airfare online, you can print these.

I have 1 side, not sure which, but it's nice and not broken.

Gary, this is the one we have. If you have the opposite one, I/we would be interested.

Micheal, you have the one that goes on the left side of the console. I'm hesitant to call it the driver's side since your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. Emphasis on wrong. :D

thanks markos. It was hard for me to confirm as I don’t have access to the car at the moment. Appreciate your help.

Therefore @Gary Waggoner if you do have the one that goes on the right hand side, that would be great.

BTW I should explain that I bought @Simufly ‘s car (with the A/C pieces to be installed but we are just missing this part). Simon was kind enough to post the original request for me.

thanks Gary. Appreciate the response.

Back to the drawing board. Anyone else out there that has one?

@Markos in terms of 3D printing do I just need to find a company who does 3D printing or another type of specialist? What material should they use - are there different options?

That’s right Michael. ABS or Vinyl works well. About the same cost. You may want to sand the ABS a bit before painting. I suggest that you paint these items.

A possibly interesting thought. Does sprayed on truck bed liner sort of look like elephant skin? If passable, it can be bought in rattle cans. At a suggestion I made, some of the younger E24 guys have cheaped out and done their dash repairs and then covered them with it and had nice looking results and something that will stand up to the weather.. Just a thought.

Michael, pretty sure that I have both, will look tonight. The one you have has an extra hole, or am I seeing things...Don't know how anal (in a good way :)) you are about condition...Mine are VG with a couple of invisible repairs if they are still here...

Sorry, I looked last night, and mine are gone...I sold some parts at the Vintage event last spring, and those went with some interior bits...(Fortunately, I wrote it down or I'd still be looking..) My apologies for the false positive.
