All you can Carry E9 ...$49

Seems to me there will be a few people buying 3D printers around here. Maybe get one for Stan to keep him busy making Repros.

trunk lid

Anybody need the trunk lid. it's a shame to let it go.
I recall it looked in very good shape compared to the rest of the body.

Going back on Saturday and hopefully before the crusher.:(
May bring flowers.

Hopefully I can get the inner rear fender covers off in one piece. They look new.
Anybody know if these are on with glue and are they removable in one piece.

Covers: You need to remove the center rearmost floor board and white vinyl locking strips to remove them, no glue is used. Also have to remove tension arms and brace for trunk lid.

These things are ultra brittle and I would think those might crack when you have to contort them to get them out. Worth it, be patient, and once you remove the hinge arms, that trunk is quite heavy. You should get the lid as it has next to no rust.
If anyone needs those drums or struts, speak now, as it is getting crushed in a matter of days.

Bring a 1" plastic putty knife with you to gently separate the vinyl from the metal if it doesn't come away freely. Mine had something that looked like very old crusty adhesive in there, it didn't take much to get it apart but the vinly will crack easily so use caution.

Spray bottle of 3M adheasive remover ...

should do the trick and I've never found any plastic/rubber that was damaged by it.

They are the rubber plugs for the gas filler boot, they cover the access holes. It seems like 9 out of 10 coupes are missing these.

sounds like i made a good guess. and i just looked and my coupe doesn't have any. Chris, post a pic of them in place.

Here they are....

Picked pretty clean. Good job salvaging the useful.
Did one the you guys on here manage to score the passenger side defroster nozzle?

Victor got the nozzles and he was ecstatic to find them in good shape. I had no idea they were hard to get.

I guess the top edges get brittle from sun exposure. I cracked mine when removing the dash. Victor, if you want to sell, let me know.

I had searched real hard for these parts as mine did not survive the dash removal either. They had been damaged by a PO and I finished the job.

I posted here a few months ago looking for these with no luck.
Bob had mentioned that Marcus Glarner was also parting a coupe so maybe he would have these.

Sorry and good luck.

Victor, thanks and I'm glad the vents didn't get crushed and are being put to good use.

Chris, thanks for the heads up. Have left a pm for Tom.
