Purchased in 71, converted in 78. Engine makes 227hp. Anyone know the specs on this uprated engine? What compression ratio, pistons, etc?

I don't know too much about the B2.

That’s the sports gear box in which bottom left is 1st gear! Commonly known as the dogleg gearbox.

I visited the Alpina Works in Buchloe back in 1983 with the BMWCCA. Amazing place! I bought the official wood gearshift knob that's now in my '72 2002,and their racing jacket. Whoever buys this Coupe needs to buy my now too small for me jacket.
