Alpina center caps question

The only thing I see differ between W&N and CK is that the W&N nuts have a different top. Have I missed something else? The length?

That’s the point. You got it right. Difference is minor but it’s either correct or it’s not.
Like you, I too got a basic set of rims. Once they’ve been refurbished, center caps, solid metal valves and the ‘correct’ wheel nuts, you have a valuable set of collector rims.
Oh ya, I forgot the most important part, the tires. Depending on how far one goes, that’s a chunk of cash!

Reviving this thread to ask a similar question. I brought my weds Bavaria wheels today to have new tires out on in place of the 13-year-old ones that were on there. These plastic alpina caps were just taped on there with black electrical tape. Without the tape these would just fall out completely. Is this really how this is supposed to work? I assume not. These are 16” staggered wheels and the caps look like the ones that would come from CoupeKing. They measure about 67mm across. I see on eBay some metal ones that snap in from the front and measure 67 or 68mm, but they don’t project out as much as these. What are my best options here?

Elegant BMW center cap replacement for Weds wheels discussed here:

Just me, but I would not install Alpina caps on non Alpina wheels.

I agree, and thanks for the thread info. I’m going for some standard BMW caps as described in the thread you linked.

I think Albinos are best with BMW caps

Weds and H&B logos are mind boggling bad

IMHO

completely agree with you there Don ... i am using the BMW caps with my 15" OZ alpina style wheels

I followed Bert's advice (in the thread he posted) and the I'm still 100% satisfied with the BMW caps - still the same set running strong after 10 years ago
