Used Alpina style type 2 chin spoiler. This has been collecting dust for over a decade and so its time to go. While in one piece this will need fiberglass work. Someone that is handy can take this one. Selling for $250 OBO. Note the deeper ducts for better routing of cool air on this unit. I think this is a better design than other stuff being sold out there. Item in Oceanside.

I am thinking about buying this and making a mold of it... I also have the early style alpina chin spoiler i got from Germany. I have not made a mold of that yet as I have other project that have priority.

That's a cool one w/ the extended ducts. Mine didn't have that. The fiberglass is easy to fix for someone that knows what they are doing. I can't tell you how many times mine needed to be repaired. Just the way it sat on the Bavaria, it was lower than it looked. I used to joke it is the world's most expensive spoiler due to the constant repair costs. It probably sits better on the coupe, eliminating really having to watch every culvert, dip, driveway, pothole, etc.

Cool piece, good luck with the sale.

Having said that, It does appear to be an e3 spoiler.
There is quite a different plan shape as the spoiler wraps around towards the wheel house on the e9.

Appreciate the comments - I want to clarify this is NOT a genuine Alpina part. I have no idea when or what company produced it. When I bought it from Coupeking - he said it was for an E9. Here are the pictures taken today for fitment on my E9.

Its not original but i can certainly attest to the quality of the CoupeKing part as i had one fitted to my coupe initially after my resto. I also dont know that this spoiler was built exclusively for the E3 as there are examples of it fitted to coupes as well. Below is an image of mine as well as another sporting the piece bmwmadman is selling. It may simply be an earlier version as i know there are at least 3 variants if not more.

The CoupeKing Alpina spoiler was high quality and an actual Alpina spoiler was used to make the molds. I could still make out the ALPINA raised letters on the back of mine when it was on the Bavaria. I do recall the E9 and E3 versions were different though. Not to say one won't work on the other.
