For sale, driver quality panel that sits between the rear lights, behind the licences plate.
With fog light cut out.

Quality is for a drivers' car. It has some scratches, a slight dent, overspray on the bottom and some aluminum corrosion.
The dent is very light, but it does show as crazing in the anodized surface (if the light hits under a certain angle only). Height of dent can be seen in the pic with the yellow box.
Hence the modest price of just 35 euro.
(License plate not included, just for demonstration)

Needs a clean for a driver's car.
Needs straightening, sanding and reanodising for a show quality.

Regards Erik.

Hello Markos,
Thank you for making/offering a template for the fog light cutout. I currently have a rear panel without the opening and would like to add a fog light.

Is your template for cutting the fog light opening in the body of the car only? Or, can it be used for cutting an opening in the aluminum rear panel?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
Jerry

Mine came with the body cut for the light but not the panel (why would you drive with a hole in your trunk?). I mounted the panel and marked it from the actual body, then cut with a dremel.

All dimensions in mms.

Rectangle is 67 by 84mm.
Holes (center) are 50mm from the top edge.

Mind you that it has to line up with the Aluminium panel that goes over it.

Same dimensions on my NOS spare panel

Hi @Engrip,

My template is for cutting the body. Don’t cut your tail panel. Just replace it with a factory fog panel. There are plenty of these floating around.

ok, thanks! I'd like to borrow your template in the spring if possible.

No problem. To you @OCCoupe I highly recommend installing the trim plate and verifying before making the cut. :D He can mail it to you when he's done. You can do what I did and just mark the hole for a future cut.

It looks like the template/measurement thing is in good hands. Just in case there is a piece of info someone needs beyond that, I have a NOS BMW rear panel hanging on my wall that is destined to be installed on my car. But for now, it is just a really big "template". I can't actually send it to anyone to use as a template, but I'd be happy to take any measurements if needed.

The template is just a cut down rear panel.
Captain obvious alert. :D

If someone needs a measurement of the same, but all the way to the right side tail light hole, for example (or any other part of the panel). I am just noting that I have a larger piece of a rear panel available to measure. ;)

You called it a "thing" :D

In my mind and in that context, thing = situation, topic, concern. Sorry, I am "working" while I am couping, and it is very cold here. Thing and stuff conveniently replaces a lot of verbiage in my mind.

I hate to be a cling-on, but I have 2 of the aluminum version with no fog light cut out. Is there interest in those?
