Am I missing a turn signal cancellation ring?

Hey guys,

I have an aftermarket Momo Alpina wheel in my recently acquired CSi. Unfortunately, my directional signal doesn't self cancel, so I removed the wheel to take a look and see what is going on.

I suspect I am missing the cancelling cam and collar, referenced in the attached picture from the 2 volume Repair Manual (page 32-31/5).

Does anybody know if these parts are compatible with my steering wheel? That is to say, if I order them from Autohaus, will they work with my steering wheel. It drives me CRAZY that my directional signals don't self cancel.

Cancelling ring

Yes it look like your are missing the cancelling cam. It seems as though it would fit into the recess on your wheel boss. They are only peanuts so if it does not fit then nothing lost?
 
Yes it looks like you are missing the cancelling ring.

The ring should work with your steering hub once you aquire it.
 
the cancellation piece is a press fit right into the hub. if you place it there, then tighten up the hub onto the shaft, it will press it into the space.

Any idea where I can source the cancellation ring and collar? Autohaus doesn't carry them, and I don't know the other likely places to look. Thank you!

I believe this is the ring, still available from BMW:

32321118825

It looks like you have the collar but if not this may be it:

32311120260

ALso listed as still available.
