First off, wow - this car looks great. I'm just confused by the "unrestored" title in the listing, but there are photos of sanded to bare metal fenders, not to mention a dozen other details that look freshly zinc coated, re-painted, etc.

Is this a good representation of Atlantik? The outside shots look amazing to me. Love the color in those views.

How did Pelly’s floor look?

Amazingly original:

That's not rust, but cosmoline I think.
Yes, cosmoline and maybe a little oil stain, but not rust. The reason some of the undercoating came off my coupe is because the original auto tranny leaked fluid and it penetrated the undercoating. It eventually peeled away, but the oil protected the raw metal from rust.

I think the seller set too high of a burden for the car by claiming it is "unrestored," except the seat covers. It is a particularly high burden for the shifter, boot, seat upholstery, underbody, gas tank, engine-bay, stickers, etc. Once you start questioning that stuff, it makes it harder to sell for best price without a PPI or personal inspection. So, IMHO it is a beautiful car and looks fairly priced, but an own-goal for veracity, which makes it hard to pull the trigger on that price without further inspection.

“The Vintage BMW specialists in Oldenzaal have completely gone through this car to make this a Turn-key, Needs-Nothing 2002 Turbo. Everything has been done, adjusted and serviced ready for any concours, meet, tour or mountain drive!”

Don's a funny guy - "Whomever wrote the ad should go back to copy and paste school...." :D

Very nice car. I'd want to check it thoroughly seeing as it is from the Netherlands, the land of drizzle.

For an "unrestored" car the alloy seat trim is in amazing condition. Mine look like someone took a rasp and dolly hammer to them.

6:35 pm and 22 degrees outside in your town- you should be sipping on some good Australian wine right now!

Well as it turns out you are right! The Red Rattler shiraz. South Oz, McLaren Vale. On my second glass. Got a ways to go to catch up to you though.

BTW it's 18.2 outside, positively freezing.
