Luigi was invited to attend the 2016 Amelia Island Concours which was honoring the German driver Hans Stuck. What an event!

We also had the opportunity to meet several forum members, drivers, and see some great cars.

Here's the video of our weekend:

Great video. So wish I could have attended. THANK YOU for allowing me to do so vicariously through your camera and eyes.

Congrats on the award, and I'm sure you had a WONDERFUL time.

Great video.........

It was nice to meet you Steve. We were there with the 88 M5 on Saturday.
Coupe is in many pieces right now.

Came by and said hi on Sunday.
What a wonderful car and so glad you have put it in such excellent condition.

As always, a great video, with a perfect sound track (I've been a Leo Kotke fan as long as I've been a BMW fan..)..All beautifully presented. I think I'm in love with Luigi. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the video- I would be sooooooooo out of place with a crowd like that :-) so for me the video is invaluable and your car looks great. I'm sure the attention to detail was something that was not present in many of the other "modified" cars. You must have been thrilled- and well deserved!

Wow, what a cool video! That was awesome.

My favorite parts were the in car cams driving on the field... something odd about seeing that track beast driving on a manicured lawn. Then the shots of Hans Stuck with the car of course. Closely behind are all the views of the various 962s, one of the coolest race cars ever in my book.

Special mention to the TransAm Audi Quattro which I saw up close and personal when I was flagging the Long Beach Grand Prix in 1988. I think it was its first race in the series that was traditionally dominated by Detroit iron. It obliterated the competition in such a way that the SCCA spent that entire season adding penalty weight to it after each race until it could barely keep its head above the water.

Thanks for making and posting that!

Thank you all for the kind words. The videos are fun to make. It helps keep Mary involved as she does some of the camera work.

One of our highlights of the weekend was meeting some of you. What a great group on the forum!

Luigi arrived back at Racecraft today. It is good to have him back. Next up for him is the Sonoma Historics in June.

Excellent! Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for putting this one together, really captures the excitement. Say, how do you get those overheads, do you use a drone or something?
