No affiliation but if you fancy going E9 shopping, this auction looks like a good place to be......

1975 3.0 CSi/L Group 2 Competition - est 325,000 - 375,000 euro

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php/carno/150991

All of these cars seem to come from the same collection and also include a number of 3.0 saloons with ultra low K's, one as low as 31 original km's.

And just for good measure, here's an unrelated RHD 1972 3.0 CSL in Chamonix going for 50,000 GBP

They all look in pretty much amazing condition. Happy drooling!

Thx for the link Mick. The 11k Km CSi apparently needs some 'work' prior being put on the road again. Some cars here will be sold at the Munich Bonhams auction (to be held next week end).

I also found a CSL in France (2275 485, for you Gianni...) that will be auctionned October 9

@Yannick:

Isn't 2275485, J-C B:s Bat? I have a note that it was Polaris from factory!?

Cheers
Henric

Hi Yannick,
I believe Henric is right...
My records also say 2275485 was born in Polaris.

Bat -485 was the third last car in the batch of some 20 Polaris Bats. As from -488 there is a Chamonix batch of bats. Logically, BMW wouldn't interrupt the Polaris-batch and squeeze in a Chamonix and then continue with two Polaris cars. But who knows, more strange things has happened in the magic world of the CSLs. Maybe a client insisted in Chamonix and BMW made this arrangement.

Cheers
Henric

Actually only the last CSi of the list is a part of the same collection and there are 8 more cars ( most E3 ) for sale in the auction.

The Colorado carbs CSL is mine, but I don't like to do any promotion here :).

I'll drive the CSL to Munich on 29th and will be at the museum during viewing times on friday and saturday: anybody is coming?

Colorado

The Colorado is stunning, LOVE that color.

The ad lists it with triple webers but the pic shows a dual filter housing. Which is it? The only carbed CSL I've seen had dual carbs...

The Colorado keeps its original Zenith carbs, don't know why and what the "experts" wrote on the catalog.

There are some infos about the story of the car that are not printed, I think the catalog was done in a hurry!
