Oh great! The cost of BMW parts aren't high enough, we'll just add an inexpensive engine to maintain...

There is a YouTube channel, m539 restorations that is really good. He is based in Germany and works on BMW's for the most part. Last year he bought a Maserati to work on and quickly admitted it was one of the worst mistakes he has made.
 
absolutely HATE the fiberglass box fenders. if you are going to do something like that, get e30 m3 fenders ... or at least reproductions. not sure i like the gauges and all the red lights on the overhead panel ... then there is the rust on the passenger side of the sunroof.

1st is a stump puller gear - shifting to 2nd in about 20 ft. it has some speed though
