I am saddened by the decline of our nation. I now need to know the country of harvest of my car parts.... and the Genus and Species..

Well I am in shipping hell right now with UPS. Ordered a windshield from Walloth. Filled out the paperwork properly as instructed. Thought we were good. Took a while but it shipped with UPS. BTW… shipping costs as much as the windshield. I assumed it would.

Arrives in the US. Notified of customs duty. Paid said duty of $130.

UPS keeps sending emails… out for delivery today… tomorrow… this day that day. All while web site says it in Kentucky??? Now they say they need a commercial invoice? Send them the invoice from Walloth… nope not what we want… what do you want? A commercial invoice. AAAAAAUUUUUGGH!

Of course no one at UPS can answer a damn question… let me transfer you to X department… another department.

Three weeks and counting all while my windshield dude is waiting around for nothing.

I had the same exact experience.. stuck day after day in KY. I finally sent them the attached and that seemed to do the trick.. I have removed my info, but I left the W-N info on it. The rest is either your personal info, or from the W-N invoice. Prices are in EUR. I woudl guess the weight at about 22 Kg, based on the one sitting in its box in my shop (that was pre-tariff!!).

Thanks Scott... Yep they sent me that stupid form... Question is... What the hell is the difference from the invoice that walloth provides... Not a damn thing.

Freaking crooks probably looking for more money.
 
I think the difference is that that form gets tied to your SSN so they have someone to come after for the tariff. Of course sending the feds to collect. $150 tariff seems like a poor business model
 
Should clarify Scott for those keeping track of such things. I’m going to forget exact amounts here but is was kind of 68 in duty and the rest was UPS ridiculous fees… 15 for this 40 for that… the absurd more than 3 line description charge. The last one just burns my ass every time.

I sent the stupid form over. We shall see if it moves now.
