And now we need to file the Lacy Act form for UPS shipments from Walloth- Ideas any one? Buehler?

It was mentioned in an earlier post that Alfa parts sendt from UK went relatively smoothly. Have anyone ordered e9 parts from Jaymic? The UK and EU have distinctly different customs and tax frameworks with the US.
At least they dont use UPS!

Here is a clip. from their shipping & delivery:
"We use a range of delivery methods to send parts to the UK, Europe & Worldwide.

For small light items we tend to use 1st class post or Airmail (trackable if available), and for larger or heavier items we use various couriers such as UK Mail, DHL and TNT.

On dispatch of your order you will be sent an email stating the shipping method, and the tracking number, if available. If you have any specific instructions for delivery please contact us with a wishlist and your instructions and we will respond accordingly"

wow ... ridiculous. i assume that includes the UPS fees as well. and that is for a repro trap mirror. i have BMW flag mirrors.
That's for a flag mirror. Yes, including fees. I'm assuming from reading this thread (and without any useful info from either WN and/or UPS), that the nuts I ordered to install the bumper strips added substantially to the fees.

I recently ordered a set of small hardware from WN. I was a bit reluctant to do this after all the issues we have had. I got the expected UPS "Exception Report" followed by an invoice from UPS. The tariff was $35, and the UPS Fee was also $35, so $70 on about $200 worth of stuff. That was pretty much as expected. I was waiting for the dread notification hat they needed "customer invoice information" (that stupid from where you basically just repeat whatever W-N put on their invoice only on the UPS version. Surprisingly, that never came. Instead I got a notice that the package had cleared customs and it showed up on my doorstep the next day.

So, the fees are still extravagant, but the actual delivery performance seems to be improving...
