Hi Everyone,
I'm about to start work on a 1970 2800CS. It's a US model that my dad bought from a BMW/Glas dealership in Nördlingen, Germany. It was a shock to see the CS amongst all the Goggos, Isars, and occasional 1800. I learned to drive in this car and had several adventures with it. The car was restored in the eighties, then driven through one Boston winter which ate through the front fenders. The car sat in the garage for the last 22 years. As you can see from the picture, a rodent has been living in the engine compartment.
I was really happy to find this site, and see all the expertise and parts that are available.
