guys

anyone have thoughts on 17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5 all +20 offsets - will they work?

can roll the fenders. car 1" lower in front.

thanks.

Yes that would work with 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear. Roll the fronts only and shouldn't need spacers anywhere.

Yup should be ok with right tires.
I have style 5 17x8 and they were rubbing on struts in front with 235/45/17.
Switched to 215 in front and they cleared.

The 7.5" rim in the front should eliminate any issues with the struts and still allow 225/45 tire with no issues if you so wish. My 225/45/17 on 8x17 style 42 just clear the strut even though the rim itself has at least 4mm of clearance. Tire profile and the heavy bead have a lot to do with it so make your choice of tire part of the equation.
