Another set of 80's BMW Rims

Would these fit on an E9? It would seem like it - 16”, 5x120 spacing. Only asking because they are literally in my town, so…
 
Looking at that tire FAQ, looks like the issue might be the 8” width in the front. My car has 16” tires and rolled fenders, but I’m not actually sure what my current rim width is. Tires and rims still slightly mystify me, both in their classification and their cost.
 
These came on the e32. I have them on my car. They are 8” and the offset is around ET23. They aren’t a great fit and will require 5mm spacers to stay off the struts. The 225’s don’t help.

Hmmmm. Will consider but I agree they look a little overstuffed, shall we say, like me believing I still can fit into that ultra-cool jacket (Member Only?!) that I used to have in high school.
And as far as the rain, that’s just setting the mood as far as we are concerned here in Seattle
 
Not sure these will work for me, but if anyone wants me to pick them up and hold/ship them let me know.
