There appears to be quite a bit of pitting on the back face (part that mounts up against the brake disc, and also where the tire bead touches the rim.
These look really nice, but I'm guessing they've seen a lot of salt at some point in their life.
I see some either blobs or divots in the silver area, and the black center masking tape job couldn't been a tiny bit better.
Sorry for being so picky, as these look really nice and I'd be happy with them. Maybe Burger or Macha would have them refinished to better quality.
I really like the fact that the markings on wheel are still sharp and in good relief.
Pitting:
on the mounting flange should be fine. Just coat very thinly with high temp anti seize when installing them to prevent this from happening again.
My wife's DD is our main winter transport and she NEVER washes her car. a few years ago her car was losing 3psi every 4-5 weeks, and this persisted despite getting new Michelin's. I got tired of the TPMS light and topping up her air ever month, and had a trusted local tire shop look at it. They showed me similar pitting in the tire bead area. THey said it's from salt leaching into that contact area and corroding the rims. They cleaned the bead area, smoothed it out with some sort of coating (sealant? I didn't ask) and remounted the tires. I think I paid $25 a tire to have this done. I'm told this will need to be redone with each tire change due to the pitting. They don't leak anymore.
So, if you guy these just make note of the pitting when you get tires mounted and the shop should take care of it for you.
