I guess only 276 made and only 43 w/ manual. Making it a very rare car. 300hp 2835 curb weight. 88 slant nose 930 Porsche Turbo 2935lbs and 296hp. Faster car the Alpina, plus carry five passengers. I asked a friend and this was the justification. Makes sense. Still doesn't answer your question but if both parties happy, then win/win.
