Anyone bought a BMW white battery recently?

Dealer indicates the white battery has been superceded by a new part number which is for a black battery. Anyone bought a battery recently and received a white one? If so, what was the part number? TIA!

If you can get it, buy the VARTA white battery, they make the BMW batteries anyway and they are at least still available in Germany.....othewise consider an Optima....no leaks....but pricy.....

I'm going for as much of a factory stock look as possible so I'd love the germanic OEM look of a Varta but I don't believe they're available in the US.

I'll likely go with a Die Hard AGM in group size 47. Looks more 'conventional' than the Optima.
 
In the US only Exide has been making the white BMW batteries. Pelly bought one a year ago for his Tii but it had the Mini logo.
