I've got plenty of BMW chops (have owned at least two BMWs continuously since my first 2002 in 1969; currently have 5 in the stable) and have 40+ years of loyalty to the marque. But the Glas GT vs. the ASA 1000 is no contest. Glas was a going-broke niche player working on a shoestring, while the ASA was designed and built by the best of Italy's designers and builders: Ferrari, Bizzarrini and Giugiaro. It's fast, beautiful and rare. No disrespect to the boys in Munich, but the Glas GT just can't compete at any level.
