Any good referrals? My usual mechanic (Bavarian Imports on Howell Mill) doesn't work on carbs and apparently Harrison Motorsport doesn't either. If it matters, I have a Weber 32/36 set up that is running rough and I just have not had time to trouble shoot it. Prefer experience with BMWs and E9s.

Thanks!

Harrison won't do it? Huh. I guess David or Vince didn't feel like messing with it.

He was always my "go-to" guy, but I guess if he doesn't want it, you may have to go elsewhere. There is a reasonably good shop in Marietta called (reasonably enough) CARS, they did a bang-up job on my fuel tank / pump / sender.

They are the techs from Flashback Motorworks after that place closed overnight a few months ago. Steve Curran is the gent to talk to, and their phone is ( 678 ) 402-5680. They have done some work on other coupes, as well as many older Jags, so I know they have carb experience.

That said, I don't remember seeing another coupe rolling aroud the Alpharetta area when I was there more regularly. When did you pick it up? My coupe is still there, all garaged up.

Vince essentially said they "might" do it for an existing customer, but I have never used Harrison before.

Thanks for the tip on the other guys - I will contact them.

I just picked up my coupe - bought it from a board member:

It has been at my office in Buckhead since, while I have been researching the carburetor fix and some minor rust repair.

Thanks!
