Australian e9

well spotted Cash , I wondered when this car would pop up again . It was passed in at auction a few months back. Photos indicated extensive restoration . According to BMW , it's one of only 207 RHD CSI's produced and one of 12 with Australian Compliance ( and one of the last made ) ...expensive ?...perhaps , but a rarer than the 500 CSL's produced ..For most of us, it helps us keep pace with insurance cover . Cheers, Simon

Interesting car. Terrible photos. Mine is Polaris and I had a hard time telling it was too.
How would that price fare against the strong $$$? Steve

I have a pet peeve .... Every time I see an ad with the famous last words-

"This car won't last long at this price"

I gag a little. And I make it a point to not bother looking at the car.

Hype is not your friend.

I call it the "googoutgoogout effect !!!!"

But it is accurate, it won't last at this price because seller will have to drop to a different price.

I would have thought that price was pretty fair for a fully restored low Km car (if it's been done properly)
However it does beg the question, if it's only done 25,000 km, why did it need fully restoring?

Low km,s thats because the odo stopped working at 25000.
Burky.

Wow, it's certainly had the works with the whole back end coming off like that.
Looks like a real nice car, and as I said above, I would think that price is pretty reasonable if the car is as good as it looks in the pictures.

Thank you for the moss green link. This is what the seller needs to justify the price. Three blurry photos aren't going to encourage someone to spend that money.
