Yes, believe it or not, I'm restoring an automatic console/surround, and have a pretty good carcass, but some of the finer points are tired or missing; the silver painted strips that the switches sit on are tired/scratched, the cig lighter is rusty nasty (female part)...missing the wiper speed switch, and one of the square spring clips (wicked little buggers) that hold the bottom tabs of the aforementioned silver painted strips. Could also use a couple of good window switches probably. Are the brushes available anywhere? or would anyone have one or two (one of mine is ok)...I'm sure alot of consoles were chucked when the new 5-speed was installed, but maybe someone would still have a good one for no forseable future use that I could get out of your way...this is my budget car, that will not go to Pebble, but no reason not to make it as right as possible. Thanks for any consideration.

edit...also need one of the galvanized clips that attach the whole thing down to the tunnel.

Parts you need--

Dave--see my newly posted list of E-9 parts for sale--

e.g. pair of VG silver console surround strips. BTW--I would not use those nasty factory fasteners for hold down of the strips--think outside the box--maybe a strong rubber slip on to each pin would work.

Also I may have A/T shifter stuff as I'm digging out from my small horde of E-3 and E-9 parts--need to do some searching over the weekend.

I have two perfect brushes. Better than new, plus they have the red Verona pedigree.

I also have one perfectly good brush left over from my recent auto-to-5speed swap. PM if interested.

Dave My 2800 CS comes in tomorrow and it will be converted to a 5 speed. You are welcome to any console parts I do not need. BTW I'm in Atlanta.

auto console/parts

Some good leads, thanks guys...I'll send some PM's. Murray, I owe you a call anyway. CCR, thanks for the link, not dissimilar to condition of mine...strange and different (gated, sort of..) stainless escutcheon surrounding the brushes. Disassembled, cleaned, scrubbed, straightened, and wooled last night...Tonight, grafting wood...
