Aux Air valve

Let me help you help yourself. The year and or FI system type would help. Early Si in Europe had D Jet, in the US and late in Europe they had L Jet.
 
My E9 is a 1974 euro version 3.0csi. We want to replace the current valve that is a mechanical valve with an electronic valve that was used in the later BMW models. Thank you for your reply. Jim
 
Sorry, you said Si so I assumed E3. CSi was always D Jet. There are several threads on that valve. I have no direct experience with the D Jet valve, only the L Jet valve.
