B35 head on B34

Is there any benefit to putting the big valve head on my euro B34. This will lower the CR i believe?
As I am thinking of running a Shrick cam this is maybe not such a good idea?
Found so much conflicting info on the net. Maybe SF Don can shed some light on this.

Basically without changing the pistons to match the head you end up worse than before.
Good head if you're willing to go all the way.
Go to myE28.com and do some searching on B35 head change and you should find more details.

Then putting in b35 pistons would restore the harmony.

You will go from 10 to 9:1 compression by swapping the head or Pistons.
Just port the euro head

Ok, thanks for the info.
I'm in the process of refreshing the block at the moment, so now i have a direction to go in....

B34 std block
Ported b34 head with valves and dual valves springs from the b35 head.
Shrick cam and megasquirt.
