Barenekkid Scheels (Fronts & Rears done)

I dropped off the perforated hides to the upholsterer today and took some pictures of what he had done with the seats so far.

Very nice. I think you will love the scheels. I spent a long time locating a pair of the same style scheel and had them recovered in blue leather. I think they are very comfortable and look better than even the original CSL buckets.

Update

Jcat,
Luckily the Scheels came with the car when I bought it so I didn't have to hunt for them. Since I had the webbing replaced I'll be interested to see how they feel now.
The rears seats seemed a little saggy (heck, my rear is probably saggy) so the seat guy added some more foam. I'll post pics when I get 'em (of the car seats that is)

Seat dry fit

Here are some pictures of the rear seats being fitted.
The color is more of a cognac than the orange that shows up in these pictures.

Note the tape & cushions the trim guy used to drill out the headliner retaining clip.

All the little trim pieces are being replaced

Color scheme & hanging headliner piece (dingleheadlinerberry?)

Seat leather and carpet from KHM, their trim vinyl is very close to the leather color. Dust was free.

They're gonna look great when they're all in the car. Interesting choice of color I really like it. Well done.

New Pics

More pictures of the seats, perhaps someday I'll have them in the car. Right now the headliner is going in. I am still looking for a replacement spring for the back hinge lock.

Hello Kingman,
Before you mount the seats, could I ask you to post some photos of the seat rails?
Like jcat, I found a set of Scheels - but then found that they're about 9 cm thinner at the mounting holes (40 vs 49cm for stock). I rigged them up this past summer so I could see if they were worth the trouble. (yes, they are) But, it was so unsafe, the stock seats are back. Looking at what is hanging down in your first photo I think I can see how yours are mounted, but I'd appreciate a better look, thanks.
